Phu Quoc Island welcomes nearly 1,000 foreign visitors after a month of reopening

Kiên Giang Province, has welcomed nearly 1,000 foreign tourists after for more than 30 days.

, the visitors came from Thailand, the Republic of Korea, Laos, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan. The approximately 1,000 foreign tourists included the first group, which arrived in Phu Quoc on November 20, last year, as well as four more groups that . Kiên Giang is one of five localities to get the green light from the government to welcome back from November onwards, alongside Quảng Nam, Khánh Hoà, Quảng Ninh and Đà Nẵng. Hopefully others will follow as the pandemic situation easen.
