Vietnamese cryptominers lose big after Ethereum ‘merge’

Vietnamese claim they have incurred due to their mining rigs becoming inoperable after Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency, completed its transition to . The "The Merge" was finished in the early hours of Thursday morning. According to Time, it drastically reduces the amount of energy required by the network and for Ethereum to lower its fees and massively grow its user base.
The update will no longer necessitate miners using "mining rigs" and massive amounts of energy to solve rendering these rigs useless for mining the popular cryptocurrency. Many are in difficulty since the majority of Vietnamese cryptominers were mining Ethereum.
Ethermine, the largest Ethereum mining pool, has also stated that its services would be shut down. It stated that unpaid balances of miners would be paid automatically in a few days.
