Hanoi to add new COVID-19 treatment facilities as cases reach to a new high

In the last 5 consecutive days, the number of Covid-19 cases in Hanoi has

500 cases/day. Specifically, on December 6, the city recorded 774 cases and yesterday (December 10), 863 new cases. It was the highest number of cases in a day since the beginning of the epidemic so far.

, there are 7,651 F0 patients being treated at hospitals, and . Particularly, 2 central hospitals, the and the , are providing treatments for 233 patients. Hanoi's 28 hospitals are treating a total of 1,760 patients. The city's treatment facility is providing care for 3,897 people. 1,761 F0 cases with no symptoms or mild symptoms are also being treated at various districts’ medical stations. In order to strictly control the risk of , on November 10, the Department of Health also issued a document directing preventive medical units, domestic and foreign medical examination and treatment facilities to strengthen preventive anti COVID-19 measures.
