TP.HCM, Bình Dương, Đồng Nai Plan Metro Connection

Ho Chi Minh City (TP.HCM), Bình Dương, and Đồng Nai have developed plans to extend Metro Line No. 1 to connect the three regions. The project aims to enhance transportation and stimulate economic growth in the area.​

Metro Line No. 1 Extension Details

Bình Dương Extension: The

extension starts at S1 Station in Bình Dương New City, Tân Uyên, Thủ Dầu Một, Thuận An, and Dĩ An, ending at Suối Tiên Station in TP.HCM. The total length is approximately 32.43 km, with an investment of 64,370 billion VND.​

Đồng Nai Extension: This section begins at Suối Tiên Station, extending about 21 km to the depot in Hố Nai 3, Trảng Bom. The estimated investment is around 30,000 billion VND.​

Project Coordination and Progress

TP.HCM's Department of Transport has proposed

with Bình Dương and Đồng Nai to the project. The task force will coordinate technical studies, , and funding sources. Reports on are expected to be completed soon.
