Ngọc explained, "Recently, many people have been asking, and after careful consideration, I feel it's time to speak up. Nam (also known as Bi) and I parted ways in 2023. After 17 years of dating, loving each other, getting married, and living together, we ended things very amicably with three 'no's: no shared assets, no children together, and nothing else to divide."

At the age of 34, Mai Ngọc believes it's time for herself to deserve a new, happy, and peaceful life. She stated that she won't share any further details on the matter.

Mai Ngọc and her wealthy boyfriend had their wedding ceremony in Hanoi in 2016 after several years of courtship.

Nguyễn Mai Ngọc, born in 1990 in Hanoi, graduated from the Academy of Journalism and Communication.
