On June 8, 1972, the photo was taken in Vietnam and went on to win the Pulitzer Prize for Spot News Photography as well as the World Press Photo of the Year in 1973. It depicts Phan Thi Kim Phuc, nine, and other
fleeing down a road near Trang Bang District in Tay Ninh's southern region. He took the shot when Phuc
as she fled. Her two younger brothers and two cousins were among the other children.
The exhibition will be
the Lavelle Gallery in Thu Duc City from April 3 to 10.
