Over 128,000 Students Take Competency Assessment Exam for University Admission

On March 30, over 128,000 students took part in the

Assessment Exam organized by Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM). This is the highest number of participants since the exam began in 2018. The test was at 35 locations in Ho Chi Minh City and 24 other provinces and cities.

Many students took the exam to increase their chances of

top universities. For example, Ngoc Tram hopes to study English at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, while Minh Quan a Business Administration program at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.

The exam structure was updated to

the new education curriculum. It includes 120 multiple-choice questions covering Scientific Thinking, Language Use, and Mathematics. This year, students were not allowed to bring a Geography Atlas. Results will be on April 16.
