Da Lat plans to build casino

The casino will be built in the Valley of Love,

, under a plan that has yet to be approved by Lam Dong Province authorities. A 900-meter-long food hub is planned near Hoang Van Thu Lake, and a 1.6-kilometer walking-only roadway will connect the intersection of Dinh Tien Hoang and Tran Quoc Toan Street with the Da Lat Flower Garden in downtown Da Lat. A new night market, nicknamed as 'Hell Market,' will be built to replace the old one, which is overcrowded on weekends and national holidays.

Da Lat is not the only Vietnamese town attempting to grow its nighttime economy. Other major tourist sites, including as Hanoi, HCMC, Ha Long, Nha Trang, and Can Tho, already provide late-night entertainment, cultural, and retail experiences.
