Ukraine has destroyed $16 billion worth of Russian military equipment 

According to a source, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have destroyed at least $16 billion in Russian

barely six months into the invasion.

According to Forbes Ukraine's research, the Russian army has already lost 12,142 military assets since the conflict in Ukraine started in February, including 2,000 tanks, 234 planes, and 15 ships. Ukrainian army also destroyed the $86 million Il-76

and at least $100 million in , including the "Thor," "Pantsyr" and "Strila" models.

Forbes added that their estimate did not include the anticipated losses of the missiles launched by Russia towards Ukraine or the rockets successfully shot down by Ukrainian troops. According to the journal, the cost of damaged Russian equipment reduces every time owing to the "reduction of areas of the front where the offensive is being conducted."
