U.S. Universities Strengthen Educational Ties with Vietnam

of over 40 senior leaders from 21 U.S. universities, including Stanford University, will visit Vietnam from March 31 to April 4, 2025. This visit, part of the International Academic Partnership Program (IAPP), aims to foster academic collaborations between U.S. and Vietnamese institutions.

The delegation includes universities from 17 U.S. states, such as Duke University and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. They will meet with Vietnamese universities like Hanoi University of Science and Technology and the University of Danang to explore partnership opportunities.

Marc E. Knapper emphasized the visit’s importance in the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two nations. Vietnamese education officials also highlighted its role in and student exchanges.
