On September 18th, Manulife Insurance Company announced that they had successfully processed
Immediately after the tragic fire incident, the Insurance Supervision and Management Bureau under the Ministry of Finance sent an official request to the Insurance Association and insurance companies, urging them to swiftly review and compensate the victims of the mini-apartment fire. Nguyen The Manh, Director General of the Social Insurance Agency (BHXH) in Vietnam, specifically called on BHXH Hanoi to create the best conditions possible to ensure the rights and benefits of social insurance and health insurance for the victims of the mini-apartment fire in Hanoi.
As previously reported, on the night of September 12th and into the early morning of September 13th, a fire broke out in a mini-apartment complex located in alley 29/70, Khuong Ha Street. The authorities successfully rescued 70 individuals trapped in the building and provided immediate medical care to the injured at various hospitals. According to official sources, the fire tragically claimed the lives of 56 people.
