Efforts to locate
As time grew critical, with the submersible's air supply expected to diminish within hours, an international search operation spanned
The U.S. Coast Guard reported that remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) were deployed underwater near the location where Canadian aircraft had recorded the enigmatic noises using sonar buoys on both Tuesday and Wednesday. However, no trace of the Titan had been found as of yet.
According to the company overseeing the submersible, the Titan embarked on its voyage equipped with 96 hours of air. This implied that the oxygen supply could be depleted by Thursday morning.
