Vietnam's Aeon Mall Revenue Ranks First in ASEAN, Third Globally

According to Aeon Mall's report for August to November 2024,

in Vietnam reached 12.5 billion yen (approximately 2,005 billion VND), marking a 13.7% increase compared to the same period last year. This revenue accounts for 3.7% of Aeon Mall's global total, and 16.2% of its international markets. in Vietnam stands at 9% of the global figure and 43.5% of international operations, ranking third after Japan and China.

Vietnam has become a key foreign market for Aeon Mall. As of September last year, Aeon Vietnam's CEO, Furusawa Yasuyuki, stated that the group had invested $1.5 billion in Vietnam over more than a decade. In early December, during a meeting in Tokyo with National Assembly Chairman Trần Thanh Mẫn, Aeon Mall's President, Ohno Keiji,

plans to continue expanding investments in various Vietnamese provinces and cities.

Upcoming projects include Aeon Mall Thanh Hóa, expected to open in the latter half of 2026, with an investment of 4,157 billion VND over a 10.5-hectare site. Additionally, Aeon Mall Biên Hòa

construction on January 10, covering nearly 12 hectares in Hiệp Hòa Island's center, with an investment exceeding 6,000 billion VND.
