Vietnam and Thailand Cooperate to Combat Cross-Border Fraud

Vietnam and Thailand have agreed to strengthen cooperation in fighting cross-border

. During a meeting in Hanoi on February 24, Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son and Thai Foreign Minister Maris Sangiampongsa discussed to prevent , , and .

Both countries set a

trade target of $25 billion and plan to enhance cooperation in digital economy, e-commerce, and green energy. They also aim to improve , supply chains, and transportation links.

In tourism, Thailand’s "Six Countries, One Destination"

was highlighted to boost collaboration. Vietnam thanked Thailand for supporting Vietnamese cultural centers in Udon Thani and Nakhon Phanom, as well as preserving historical sites.

The meeting also covered ASEAN cooperation, Mekong sub-region development, and South China Sea issues.
