Belgian midfielder Eden Hazard has officially announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 32. After

of 2023, Hazard did not join any club following his departure from Real Madrid. Despite receiving numerous offers, the Belgian midfielder turned them down and ultimately made the decision to retire from his professional football career.

In a statement, Hazard expressed his reasons for retiring, saying, "You have to listen to yourself and know when to stop. After 16 years and more than 700 matches, I have decided to end my professional football career. I have been able to fulfill my dreams; I have played and enjoyed the pleasure of the game on many fields around the world.
