HCMC asks for help from the public to rehabilitate tourism

has officially announced the campaign for tourism in HCMC and a competition for tourism startups. The plan for these events is for them to collect opinions and suggestions for tourism recovery, as well as to promote developments in the field. 

The department also aims at developing

, so as in order to revive the economy and safely welcome the return of international investors. According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Director of the Department of Tourism, the city’s tourism industry has launched many counter measures to fight off the challenges presented by the pandemic, including strengthening the to better promote attractions. 

The two aforementioned contests are a part of said movement to help the city’s tourism during this troubled time. They will go on from this month until June of next year. A wide variety of businesses have pledged to be willing to engage in the conversation and the consequent innovations, so long as they are deemed appropriate.
