In the first six months of the year, Ho Chi Minh City's book street achieved

The primary source of revenue for the book street comes from the sales of books and cultural products, which amounted to 29.54 billion dong, reflecting a remarkable 56.32% increase compared to the same period in 2022. Additionally, the two coffee shops situated on the book street contributed 2.69 billion dong to the overall revenue, experiencing a notable 50% increase year-on-year. The business units operating on the book street also expanded into online sales, generating 4.97 billion dong in revenue. The individual stalls and booths at the book street also witnessed growth, with several units doubling their revenue compared to the same period in 2022.

The number of books sold also saw a significant surge, reaching 455,802 copies, representing an impressive growth of 82.1%. Among them, the segment of children's books recorded 115,169 copies sold, showing a 26% increase, and their revenue also grew by 10%.
