MCK and Wren Evans among winners of 'Best of 2023' awards

The 'Best of 2023' awards ceremony by Zing MP3 in Ho Chi Minh City recently unveiled the names that stood out in the music industry, featuring prominent artists such as Hoàng Thùy Linh, Phương Mỹ Chi, and Tăng Duy Tân in the top 10. The event served as a platform to honor and present prestigious awards to the outstanding artists and songs of the year 2023.

To determine the winners, the organizers carefully curated a list of top artists and songs based on the number of listens and popularity. This compilation was then submitted to a panel of music experts for evaluation and voting. The expert panel comprised well-known figures in the music and media industry, including Diva Hà Trần, music composer and producer Dương Khắc Linh, Phan Mạnh Quỳnh, Nguyễn Hồng Thuận, Châu Đăng Khoa, representing leading recording and music distribution companies nationally and internationally, as well as journalists specializing in entertainment, culture, and music.

Evaluation criteria for outstanding artists and songs revolved around various aspects of musical artistry, including personal style, active involvement throughout the year, contributions to the community, as well as the significance, message, melody, harmony, and creativity of each song. This

The culmination of this process revealed the top 10 songs of the year, featuring tracks like À lôi, Bật tình yêu lên, Không thể say, Mưa tháng sáu, Nếu lúc đó, Ngày mai người ta lấy chồng, Thị Mầu, Từng quen, Vũ trụ có anh, and Yêu anh đi mẹ anh bán bánh mì. Additionally, the list of outstanding artists included Double2T, Hieuthuhai, Hứa Kim Tuyền, Phương Mỹ Chi, Tlinh, Wren Evans, Grey D, Hoàng Thùy Linh, MCK, Tăng Duy Tân, and Văn Mai Hương. The organizers noted that the category featured 11 faces instead of the initial 10 due to the exceptional activities of all artists over the past year.
