Overview: Xu hướng chung (trend): trong khi 3 hạng mục đều dao động mạnh nhưng cuối cùng đều có xu hướng chung tăng trong suốt giai đoạn.
Body 1: DOL mô tả số liệu 3 hạng mục giai đoạn 1980 - 1990
Cách group data:
DOL nhóm 2 hạng mục có xu hướng gần giống nhau (From 1982 to 1985: Pulp và Timber: tăng) >>> nhóm 2 xu hướng khác nhau bằng công cụ tương phản (From 1985 to 1990: pulp tăng >< timber giảm)

1. Cấu trúc tương phản
- Even though SV, SV
Ví dụ: Even though pulp had the highest production initially, it plummeted to just over 2 million tons.
- Despite + noun, SV
Ví dụ: Despite a slight dip in 1997, the paper almost doubled its 1990 figure and reached first place in 2000.
2. Mệnh đề quan hệ rút gọn: SV, which/that V1 --> SV, V1-ING
Ví dụ: From 1982 to 1985, both timber and pulp had similar increasing trends, rising sharply from 6.5 to 10 and 2.2 to 6.5 million tons, respectively.
3. Cấu trúc kết nối các sự kiện/hành động: SV + before + V-ING
Ví dụ: Timber declined to around 6.2 million tons before bouncing back to 8.0 in 1997.
