There was this trip to Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam that I had been absolutely itching for. Pictures just don't do it justice – pristine beaches, swaying palm trees, turquoise waters – it looked like paradise on earth.

for me was the chance to finally unwind and relax on a beach vacation. I'd been working like crazy lately, and the idea of soaking up the sun with a good book in hand sounded like . Plus, Phu Quoc is known for its incredible spas, so I was picturing myself getting pampered from head to toe!
