1. Mệnh đề quan hệ rút gọn thể chủ động với V-ing: (được dùng khi: động từ của mệnh đề quan hệ đang ở thể chủ động).
SV which V' --> SV + V'-ing
--> Để rút gọn, bạn chỉ cần lược bỏ đại từ quan hệ và lược bỏ trợ động từ to be (nếu có), sau đó chuyển động từ chính sang dạng V-ing.

2. Cấu trúc tương phản:
SV, but SV
Ví dụ: MP3 players were the most prevalent device in 1995, but they were overtaken by the other devices by 2015.

Ví dụ: As for tablets, by 2005, they were owned by just under 10% of households. However, these new devices swiftly gained popularity.
3. Sử dụng đa dạng các transition tools.
- Furthermore: hơn nữa;
- In the initial year: trong năm đầu;
- Meanwhile: trong khi đó;
- Thereafter: sau đó.
- As for + Noun: liên quan đến/về + Noun.
