When talking about a mature

that I admire, I would definitely think of my aunt, Kim.

Relationship: If my memory serves me right, I think I have known her all my life already. She helped my mom to take care of me when I was a baby, then she also

me a lot. Aunt Kim left Vietnam for nearly 20 years to start over in Norway and then came back 3 years ago, with her own business, a Norwegian husband and a beautiful daughter. Ever since she came back, we talk a lot, and in fact I’m planning to move to Oslo to work for her.

General description: To tell you a little more about her, she is already in her early sixties, but that woman aged amazingly well. Her hair is so

that it really puts most young girls to shame. Unlike most women, she doesn’t really worry much about , and in fact, she is even proud about most of them, but I think she would still be mad at me if she knew I described her for this “old person” topic. She isn’t really tall, but really knows how to dress to accentuate her features, and even in her younger years she already came off as the fashionista of the family.

When she moved to Norway she was already in her late 30s, which in Vietnamese culture, is the age that, if you are a woman and you are not married by then, you might as well be lonely and for the rest of your life. Yet she did not choose to but chose to start anew elsewhere. Not only did she get a master's degree in business administration back when it was rare for women to do so, she also worked from nothing to having her own chain of nail salons in Oslo. A lot of people bad mouth her about her success, and to that she said “I’ll let the four stores in downtown Oslo do the talking”.
